We’ve got some strong storms east of I 55, moving SW; that motion is rare, but can happen this time of year. Conditions are less favorable west of I 55 so they should begin weakening soon.

A thunderstorm already in progress early this morning, along Hwy 61 between Leland and Boyle; the strongest part of the storm is over Southeast Bolivar County, between Choctaw and Shaw, producing heavy rain, small hail, and lightning.
