If you have outdoor plans, be prepared to go inside if a storm approaches, especially if you plan to be at [...]

We’ve got some strong storms east of I 55, moving SW; that motion is rare, but can happen this time of year. Conditions are less favorable west of I 55 so they should begin weakening soon.

We’ve almost made it through another week! A few showers and storms likely this afternoon, as a weak disturbance approaches from the north. The best shot for storms will be from 2 o’clock until 5 o’clock. Due to the scattered nature of the storms, some of us will get wet, while others stay dry all [...]

A cluster of strong thunderstorms are located north of US 278, from Friars Point, east to Jonestown to Marks to Sardis. The storms, themselves are moving very little, but a gust front(Thunderstorm wind spreading out ahead of the storm)is heading south. Additional storms will likely form along the front, as it moves south. The storms will [...]

The official start of Summer is still a month away, but it sure feels like it already. The overall pattern is beginning to lean that way, as the primary storm track shifts north, along with the cooler air. You know the routine: hot and muggy with a few passing afternoon showers and storms…Oh yeah, welcome to the south!…Probably a few [...]
